Knowles Tivendale currently sits on three committees of the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB) including: Transportation and Land Development Committee (ADD30) Public Transportation Planning and Development Committee (AP025) - Secretary Ferry Transportation Committee (APO85). Knowles is also a sessional university lecturer in transport, land use and mobility at LaTrobe University and Monash University.
