    Close All About Rick Rick is a transport modeller and analyst, with eighteen years’ experience across private and public sectors undertaking strategic modelling, economic evaluation, and analysis of transport infrastructure projects. ​ He has worked extensively with the Victorian Integrated Transport Model (VITM) since his involvement in its recalibration to a 2006 base year. Since then Rick fulfilled roles leading the development and maintenance of the VITM Economic Module, and also providing technical advice, modelling peer review and training. ​ He is also experienced in the design and development of ‘spreadsheets as interfaces’, and blending the use of Excel, Access, VBA (macros) and other scripting for any analytical or processing task and is interested in sustainable transport, including measures to reduce car dependence and the development of elegant solutions to complex problems.
